Buoys and Lift Bags

Buoys:

A buoy is a buoy used by scuba divers to indicate their position to people on the surface. A surface marker buoy floats on the surface for the duration of the dive. It is connected by a nylon line to a reel the diver holds. SMBs are mostly used for safety during drift dives.

Lift Bag:

A lift bag is a piece of diving equipment designed to lift objects and/or divers from underwater towards the surface by means of the bag’s buoyancy.
